The beautiful secrets of Bubinga are only revealed to those that treat it with care. If treated rough, then the finish of the wood will be rough and simple, but, if the wood is treated with care and time, it will be smooth and mysterious. Reds, blacks and browns mixed into a perfect balance for any wizards. If you want this wood to be treated roughly, add it as a note to your order. Otherwise we will polish it to a warm, smooth finish.
Once you choose your wood, choose the size of your wand. The sizes selected are the piece of wood that I will start with before carving.
Next, select how intricately you wand me to carve your wand. This is mostly a matter of how much time I put in to carving your wand. There is a simple elegance in all the wands. At the $100 level I will do intricate patterns and 2 dimensional imagery on the surface of your wand. At the $200 level I will carve three dimensional shapes and patterns into the wood. All the carving is done painstakingly by hand.
